The Superyacht Cup

Palma 2010

The 15th Superyacht Cup and the second held in the central location on the Muelle Viejo was again a huge success. 22 superyachts participated, over 700 participants sailing over the three days and over 1,000 owners, crew, guests and industry representatives attending the evening social functions.

Plans are already underway for repeating the event in 2011, June 22 - 25th. It will again be a four day event opening with the Welcome Cocktail Party, followed by racing for three days and close with a spectacular Prize Giving Evening at Es Baluard Museum with live music and dancing. Each evening after racing the crews and guests will gather for fun, lively and colourful 'themed' parties held in the grand canopé structure within the Regatta Village adjacent to the yachts.

The Superyacht Cup has always been a very unique event. It is the longest running superyacht regatta in Europe and combines great racing and great parties. Everyone is there to enjoy the sailing, the atmosphere and the social functions in a relaxed and friendly environment. Places are limited, so be sure to register interest early to confirm your berth at Muelle Viejo and join in the fun.

The racing will be in pursuit style with the first yacht starting daily at approximately 1.00pm (depending on weather). The yachts will be given a Bucket Rating and the racing will follow the Superyacht Racing Protocol. Final versions of the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions will be available prior to the event on this website
